Weee!! We’re once again invited to share our story of grace, this time in TFC (TheFilipinoChannel). *sigh* it’s all about grace afterall. Having this Ukayqueen store for almost 3 years now is really a testimony that God is really in control. First of all, I’m no socialite nor was born in a buena familia. I’m just an ordinary (thrifty) girl like everyone else hehehe. I honestly still find it uncomfortable attending to big fashion events, because deep inside me I know that it’s not what I really wanted or It’s just too much for me. I just love what I’m doing and I’ll never get tired doing it. It’s still surreal to see theukayqueen when you search google or whenever I bump into a customer and see how thrilled she is to meet the face behind theukayqueen. I always have this In-Awe moment with God-”wow Lord, ang galing mo! The credit belongs to You!”. I find comfort with God as our boss and business partner. =)

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for patronizing us. You guys give me more reasons to always be passionate with what I’m doing. Looking forward to meet and be friends with you all=) hihihi

Here’s the 2nd set of our shoot. I did the make up and Rex helped me with the styling. Most of the clothes worn by Steph are all from Ukay. =) Go ukay!!=) I am no stylist by profession but I love mixing and matching clothes. You know the little sense of pride you get whenever you’re able to come up with an outfit out of ukayx2 only? You know what i mean.=) So happy we were able to pull this off!

WANDERLUST part 1

Hello cyberfriends! How are you? Been a long time. I guess I really need to reorganize my buzzzy schedule so I could squeeze in blogging once again. I apologize for keeping you waiting. My blog has been in a dry state for quite sometime now. hihihi Anyway, the past months got me preoccupied with several shoots for clients and (some) for fun. I have this project in mind of organizing shoots showcasing Ukay treasures but everything is still in a little state of hibernation. Good thing a little push and *aammp!* finally helped me start something. (yeah somethin’ somethin’)

Rj, ME and with the help of our designer friend Pau and a very pretty model Steph, thought of this concept Wanderlust. You know, that feeling or strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore a world? It can be fueled by your dreams or your imagination. It’s like you want to escape, to go somewhere far, to lose yourself for a while and just be free. Everyone has their wanderlust in them. Everyone.
